The Pacific Health and Education Gathering is a conference designed to equip diverse stakeholders with information and skills they need to address the significant health and education disparities and inequities faced by Pacific Islanders.
The Gathering provides participants a forum to: share current research and best practices; discuss and collaboratively set a meaningful research and program agenda; and build skills and partnerships for engaged research and programs. The Gathering attracts a wide group of stakeholders including academic researchers and educators, patients and caregivers, health and human services providers, community members, nonprofit organizations, policy and government agencies, and funding organizations.
The Gathering is the only conference in the United States that focuses on the unique health and education needs of Pacific Islanders. Research priorities from past Gatherings are included below.
