OUR PILLARS

Community-based organizations (CBOs) are important health system stakeholders as they provide numerous, often highly valued programs and services to the members of their community. The aim of Pillar IV (Community-Based Organizations) is to implement strategies that will help PI-serving CBOs to deliver primary care services and improve health policies affecting PI.

Assist PI-led Community Orgs.

Improve the capacity of Pacific Islander Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to deliver primary care and wrap- around services to their local communities.

Provide Training Assistance

Provide opportunities for training and staff development.

Establish Network

Establish a network of Pacific Islander Community-Based Organizations (CBOs).

Provide a Platform for Community Orgs.

Provide a platform for CBOs to share ideas and issues on policies affecting health and well-being of Pacific Islanders.
